Blacks & Jews Come Together To Save Kyrie Irving

I have been hyper-critical of Kyrie for his transgressions against the Jewish people. The reason I felt so disappointed is that I’m a huge fan. I was selfishly hoping my Lakers would pick him up next season.

I’m old enough that Kyrie could be my son. The fact that Nike has suspended their relationship feels as though they are piling on. I empathize with the young man. Check out the graphic below.

These are genuine acts of kindness done away from the media spotlight. A person who takes the time to contribute to others in such an individualized way is admirable.

We are all flawed humanoids who make terrible bonehead decisions on occasion. Fortunately for us, our decisions, especially the ones we would like to take back, aren’t publicized in the national media.

As a former athlete who made his fair share of questionable decisions when I played basketball at Clemson University. My time was before the internet and social media platforms.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. The Internet and Social Media are Unforgiving and Undefeated. Once it’s out there you can’t put the bunny…
