Our time together is running out like the sand through an hourglass. It’s been two months and seven days since we gazed into each other’s eyes. The weekend is ending.
My Queen dons hip-hugging pink crushed velvet warm-ups with a matching hooded jacket. Her blonde locks have soft bouncy curls with some secured with a comb behind her right ear. Big gold hoop earrings complete her ensemble.
I’m watching her chew after feeding her a slice of apple dipped in caramel. I find everything she does alluring. She is so sweet and lovely. Our relationship has rocketed to dimensions mere mortals couldn’t understand. My Queen speaks:
“Baby, why do you love me?”
“Cause.”
“Cause why?”
“Cause you laugh at all my jokes,” I replied.
It’s one thing to Say I Love You. It’s a whole other level to explain why.
We continue.
