When you smile, I see the pain in your pretty light brown eyes.
You show the world your hard outer shell to protect your sweet, sensitive soul. Untold stories you keep of absolute abuse and neglect from both the young and the old.
They come as you slumber in the form of night terrors and fears. Only to awaken at sunlight to a pillow filled with tears.
Suga Bae, when you smile, I see the hurt in those beaming bright eyes.
A baby girl navigating the maze of daily life with a trusting eloquence. So ill-equipped to understand the intentions of treacherous thieves, preparing to steal your innocence.
Sweetheart, when you smile, I sometimes see a glimmer of hope piercing through determined, unblinking eyes.
Your offering of unconditional love, you generously give. But to Fake Lovers, destroyers of your dreams, required for their hate to live.
My prayer for you, my gorgeous God gifted friend. Keep smiling and keep the faith because true love will be yours in the end.
