Going To Kill The Plug
The five days in rehab gave me time to assess my life and the event I think about at least once a day since it happened last year. The murder of my teammate, big homie, and best friend, Simmie Dave.
Sims, Kade, and I were the three amigos. We won the North Carolina high school state championship together.
Kade went to Clemson, I went to Howard, and Simmie Dave went into the Drug Trade. I warned him that Ricco was a good-for-nothing slimeball. I came back home after his murder.
The jury found Ricco not guilty, however, the hood knows what the motherfucker did. I realize he’s the Plug and killing him will bring a shitstorm my way but only if they find out.
I’ve had to smile in that bastard’s face knowing what he did to my cuzzo. Tonight will be his last on earth. I know where that motherless fuck gonna be this Friday.
