Chapter Nine: My Little Red Bunny
Spring Break has finally arrived. This will be the first time in four years I will spend it away from my teammates because of a broken toe. Somehow, Red overhears I may need a ride home. Red is a little hanger-on, not sure which of the homies she was pursuing. In hindsight, I think it was me.
She lived in one of the eight apartments within our quad. I never noticed her before. She has auburn hair that went down to her back to her tight little waist and cute little freckles on her nose and under her eyes.
She stood about five feet one with a body like a gymnast. I’m an ass connoisseur by trade and she had a booty like a black girl. Red speaks up.
“Kade, I live in Gaffney, which is only 30 miles from Rutherford County. I can give you a ride if you promise to run a few errands with me.”
I was a little concerned about the errands, but how did she know I was from Rutherford County? Anyway, it was a ride with the sexy little hottie who am I to complain?
It’s around noon on campus and all the students have headed to the beach or to their families. If I made it home, it would be the first time in almost a year. Red is as hyper as a ten-year-old boy on a perpetual sugar high.
