My father was the worst person ever to walk the face of the earth. He left in his wake a dozen or so children whom he never acknowledged. The asshole was a convicted felon drug dealing death peddler.
Through all his sins somehow my brother and I found each other while in high school. Dave is six months my junior and we have been best friends since.
The both of us attended University and afterward escaped our small southern town to make a good life in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC.
This is a story of how even from an unmarked grave the sins of our Father continue to follow and damage our very existence and future generations.
It was an icy, snowy, late January evening. I just made it to my brother’s house in Annapolis, MD. We alternate between each of our homes every Friday with our wives for date night.
