Secret Kisses At The Book Reading Club
Teenage Love
Ella is the most beautiful girl in my world. She is my secret girlfriend because our love is forbidden. You see, we are of different races and lived in a world much different from today.
We see each other daily at our high school, where I’m the star athlete, and Ella is the all-American girl next door cheerleader. However, the school year has ended.
Summer is upon us, and we have figured out how we will see each other almost every day during the week. We joined the book reading club at the Spindale Library.
Ella has convinced her parents to allow her to stay at her Granny’s house, within walking distance from the Projects where I live, while they are at the beach for the summer.
We are at the library where Ella is reading Little Women, a Jane Eyre novel, and I’m reading Tom Sawyer, a Mark Twain Masterpiece. Well, pretending to read, we play footsies under the table.
I can’t focus because each time her foot touches mine, I think of the Little Big 3-letter word. I’m a 15-year-old teenage boy with raging hormones. I’m so thirsty I want to go to the water fountain, but I can’t because of the embarrassing tent in my shorts. Every movement she makes, I think about… Sex.
