Reconciliation has multiple definitions
In general: Reconciliation is the process of making two people or groups of people friendly again after an argument or disagreement. For example, “Signing the trade agreement was praised as an act of reconciliation between the two countries”.
In relationships: Reconciliation is a process that focuses on healing relationships. It can involve acknowledging hurtful actions and their resulting emotions, apologizing for one’s part in an issue, forgiving, and letting go of the associated grudges.
