After the momentous Prom Night and morning with Amber. I felt invigorated and empowered. My mind is as clear as the ringing of a bell.

Courtney is a passing fancy, just a beautiful dream. The bell had tolled on our relationship. Courtney Johnson, a gorgeous sheet soaking wet dream.

I’m running the courts of Small-Town Friendly like a wild bull on the streets of Pomona. My little homie Bubba and I are raising havoc, crushing friends and foes alike on the Carver Ballfield, the playground in Forest City and the hall in New Hope. I walk in the house.

“That white girl been calling every half hour,” My mom says.

On cue the dream once again becomes my reality.

“Hello.”

“Hey honey what you doing Court ask.”

“Chilling chilling.” I reply

“Can I come see you tonight?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Why!!” she screams.

“I think we need to stop seeing each other. You have a boyfriend and I have a girlfriend.”

“Bullshit. I only date Jerry for my parents sake. I don’t love him. I love you. She pleads.”
