I grew up without a dad but with strong female role models. However, my male friends were the greatest influence. Their mantra which became mine was We don't have girls as friends. We only f**k them.

I never had a purely platonic girlfriend until college. My grandmother always said show me who your friends are and I will know who you are.

Every man should have a couple of platonic girlfriends. Women friends bring balance to your beer chugging, sports obsessed, porn binging lives.
