Tales Of An American Baller
It’s a cold and dreary Friday winter evening. We are to play our in-state rival, the South Carolina Gamecocks. The game is Saturday night, so the Boyz decided to have a little house party.
My room dawg Rick informs me that his girlfriend’s cousin had seen me on TV, as well as pictures in the local Columbia newspapers. She’s in Tiger Town for the game and wanted to meet yours truly.
“Dude, her name is Arletta, she lives in Columbia and she’s a beauty. Plus her dad’s a preacher.” He says.
“Aww hell, then she’s probably a good girl. Gonna give a brother blue balls all night.”
“My brother, you may have hit the jackpot. You know they say a preacher’s daughter is the sluttiest girl in church.”
“For real, if I had known I would have gone to church more often.”
We have a laugh.
My Queen wasn’t coming to the game, so I’m up for meeting a new co-ed. She was to be brought to our apartment at 8 pm. They didn’t arrive until 9:30.
The party is in full effect. Big Shottie is on the wheels of steel. The red strobe light gives our living room a club feel. I’m in the corner with my mates talking shit about God only knows.
