Michigan vs. Tennessee
I’m watching a very exciting March Madness game. Michigan and Tennessee play a heart pounding game that came down to the wire.
I had been very critical of Howard, Michigan’s head coach. He got into a shoving match with the opposition at the end of a loss against Wisconsin.
This happened over a month ago. The Big Ten, the conference Michigan plays in, suspended him five games.
I thought he didn’t display the type of sportsmanship expected from such a well respected former player and coach.
Juwan Howard was a part of the Fab Five. They were a crew of Michigan freshman recruits that took the basketball world by storm.
Howard, Weber, Rose, King and Jackson were what many considered the greatest freshman class to debut in the history of college basketball.
However, they never lived up to the great expectations placed upon their young shoulders.
To be fair, they made the Final Four and even made it to the Championship Game.
Chris Weber, their best player, called a timeout at the end of the game. Unfortunately, they didn’t have one to take.
