Joanna, I'm not saying it was the correct way to go into relationships. However, you only know what you know.

It took me losing not one, but two great women because of the toxic masculinity I displayed. Not until I was able to step back and self assess that I realized what a knucklehead I had been.

The even sadder note is the alpha male tough guy isn't my true personality. I've since been told that I'm a great friend with the opposite sex as long as sex isn't involved. I continue to put up walls once that threshold is crossed. I'm still a work in progress.
